          Fronting on Main Street and facing a tidal creek the early 1800’s Duck Creeke Tavern has a cozy and casual feel. A full menu is offered with a children’s menu as well. The oldest existing tavern in Wellfleet offers fun times and fine food from around the globe, with great live background music on special nights featuring Piano, Jazz and blues ensembles. One of the many fun Wellfleet restaurants is a pulling together of late 1700 and early 1800's buildings. The entry part is from the early last century.                              

          The Chart Bar, overlooks the duck pond at the rear of the building. Marine Charts of local waters decorate the surface. It is a favorite gathering place in the evening for locals and tourists alike. Enjoy the famous Shrimp Margarita, Scallop-Stuffed Lobster, Potted Halibut, sweet and tender Poached Lobster, Savory Puff and Vegetable Pies, Cod and Pea, Wellfleet Cioppino , succulent Steamed Mussels, Sea Cakes dense with fish, shrimp and scallops and the Crusted Chatham Cod. Steaks sizzle and Chicken and Pasta Specialties as well as a Children's Menu are offered. There are special nights of Live Music throughout the summer and great cocktails and brews are always on tap!
