We welcome your visit. Please come and enjoy this getaway and an escape back in time with all of Wellfleet's beauty, history, and unforgettable charm!

The Inn at Duck Creeke in Wellfleet MA has been welcoming guests to it's Cape Cod lodgings and accommodations for generations. The Inn at Duck Creeke sits on the edge of this small fishing and artists village in the Historic District on five wooded acres of land.

In the New England Inn and Yankee tradition some of the buildings have been "recycled" and moved onto the property from other areas of town.

n the late 1700's, it contains some interesting architectural details. The three millstones which comprise part of its walkway were grinding stones used at the salt works mill.

The Captains House (the main Inn at Duck Creeke building, shown above) was built in 1810 as a sea captain's homestead. It is situated on a knoll overlooking its Duck Pond and the ever changing salt marsh and tidal creek. This tidal creek leads to the Wellfleet MA harbor and Cape Cod Bay just one mile away.

Duck Creeke Tavern Room is located in a former Wellfleet home, and is attached to what is called "The Hodge Podge". These "bits and bobs" of Wellfleet architecture and homes were blended together in an interesting way in the last century. The two fine and fun restaurants, Sweet Seasons Restaurant and the Duck Creeke Tavern are within.

The Carriage House, the newest of the buildings, was converted from a stable / garage in the last century.

The Inn at Duck Creeke is very convenient to the many attractions of the Outer Cape. From the Inn it is just a short half-mile walk along Main Street, Wellfleet MA to the center of town with its many art galleries and shops. The beautiful Cape Cod Bay beaches, ponds, and the six miles of dune beaches on the Atlantic side are all close by. Wellfleet MA sits in the heart of the protected Cape Cod National Seashore.
