Some weekend one-night-stays $10 - $20 addtional Cancellation Policy: - We are pleased to guarantee your reservation for the entire duration of your requested stay. Please read carefully *All cancellations are subject to a $20 Processing Fee. Guests are responsible for the full length of their reservation. Please give the Inn 15 days notice so that we may try and re-rent the room for you. With less notice of Cancellation (14 or fewer days) or Early Departure, refunds will be made subject to the Inn's ability to re-rent the room for the period of your guaranteed reservation. Eligible Refunds can be applied toward a future stay or toward a Gift Certificate.
Deposit Requirements Payment in full is required for stays of 7 or fewer nights. Reservations of 7 or more nights require a 50% deposit. Any balance due is payable at check-in time. We request your deposit check within 14 days of booking. Holiday Rates apply on Memorial Day ( May 27, 28, 29 ) Columbus Day (Oct 7, 8, 9 ) Oyster Fest (Oct 14, 15 )
Air-conditioned Rooms are only on the third floor of the Captains House, in the Carriage House and in one room in the Saltworks House. Rooms have at least two, three or more windows to catch the evening bay breeze. All rooms have either ceiling or oscillating fans if not air-conditioned.
Semi-private Rooms share the bath facilities with only one other room. Great for friends and families.
Difference in Style of Rooms: The Captains House The first two floors are in the antique style with wallpaper, hardwood floors, painted wood work and wainscoting, etc. The Third Floor and the Carriage House click for Carriage House Photos are more contemporary, that being from the last century. The style is rustic with exposed beamed ceilings, carpeting etc. The walls are partly painted and partly rough-sawn wainscoting. They are air-conditioned on the third floor because of being so close to the roof. Families and groups of friends enjoy these rooms because the rooms can sleep more than two people. The Saltworks is an early 1700's home with five rooms. It sleeps ten people. Three rooms each have one double bed and one room has two twin beds. There are two baths to share with each other. One room has one queen bed and private bath. There is a small entry lobby and a larger seating area to gather in with a small guest fridge.
